ANASTROZOLE TABLETS
Anastrozole is called non-steroidal aromatase inhibitor. Anastrozole USP 1 mg is used to treat breast cancer in women whose breast cancer has worsened after taking Tamoxifen & who have experienced menopause.

Anastrozole has been used for reducing estrogens, including estradiol, in men. Excess estradiol in men can cause benign prostatic hyperplasia, gynecomastia, and symptoms of hypogonadism, so it has been used to reduce and prevent symptoms of excess estrogens; gynecomastia and water retention.

TAMOXIFEN TABLETS
Tamoxifen Citrate tablets USP 20 mg. It is a non-steroidal Antiestrogen, for oral administration. Tamoxifen Citrate tablets are used in Metastatic Breast cancer in women and men. It is used as an alternative to oophorectomy or ovarian Eradication. It is indicated for the treatment of node-positive breast cancer in postmenopausal women following total mastectomy.
Tamoxifen may keep cancer from spreading to other parts of the body. It may reduce the chance of getting new breast cancer.

In addition, Tamoxifen was used to stop the effect of conversion into estrogen causing gynecomastia.

GRANISETRON TABLETS
Granisetron is used to prevent nausea and vomiting caused by cancer chemotherapy and radiation therapy. Granisetron is in a class of medications called 5-HT3 antagonists. It works by blocking serotonin, a natural substance in the body that causes nausea and vomiting.

Granisetron comes as a tablet and a solution (liquid) to take by mouth. When taken to prevent nausea and vomiting caused by chemotherapy, granisetron is usually taken an hour before chemotherapy is begun. A second dose may be taken 12 hours after the first dose. When taken to prevent nausea and vomiting caused by radiation, granisetron is usually taken within 1 hour before treatment.
