Cefotaxime is an antibiotic used to treat a wide variety of bacterial infections. Cefotaxime Sodium Injection is a broad spectrum bactericidal Cephalosporin antibiotic. Cefotaxime Sodium Injection is available in compositions of 250 mg, 500 mg, and 1 gm injectables.

It is used in the treatment of infections of the lower respiratory tract including pneumonia, urinary tract, skin and skin structures, bone and joints, bacteremia/septicemia, CNS infections, intra-abdominal infections including peritonitis, gynaecological infections including pelvic inflammatory disease, endometritis and pelvic cellulitis caused by susceptible strains of specific microorganisms; peri-operative prophylaxis.

CEFDINIR TABLETS
Cefdinir is a cephalosporin antibiotic used to treat pneumonia, otitis media, strep throat, and cellulitis. It is a less preferred option for pneumonia, otitis media, and strep throat which may be used in those with a severe allergy to penicillin. It is taken by mouth.
